Trish Gaudoin, Mediation Services

I am an attorney and a Certified California Mediator licensed to practice law in California (2007), Pennsylvania (2000), and West Virginia (1999). I have practiced as a civil litigator in all of these jurisdictions and have handled hundreds of mediations for both plaintiffs and defendants. I have chosen to focus solely on Mediation at this time because I believe this is where my years of experience can be of the most service.

Why Select Me as Your Mediator?

Mediators are “neutrals.” We have no interest in the outcome of your dispute. Any mediator can go back and forth between the parties and exchange numbers or offers. This is not what I do. In our first private meeting, I will get to the heart of what you want. Whether it’s reasonable, possible, reaching, or unlikely, I will listen to what potential resolution would be the best for you on the date of our mediation. Together we will craft a list of concerns and desires for the outcome, keeping important interests to you in mind and we will work towards addressing these in the following private sessions. I will do the same for the other party as a neutral mediator.

Sometimes it’s solely a monetary issue. Often though, it’s far more than that. In this regard, mediation can address things that the courts cannot and will not address. I am willing to work with the parties to reach the most equitable result, be it traditional and straight-forward, or completely unorthodox. You may get a much more desirable result engaging in the mediation process than if you “won” in court.
